Teaching the Apache Children

​Mrs. Plocher graduated from Martin Luther College in 1997.  She was called to teach grades  K-2 in Bylas, Arizona on the San Carlos Apache Indian Reservation. She taught K-2 for one year and then received her second call to teach Kindergarten in Peridot, AZ.  She and her husband, Mr. Plocher, lived with the Apache people for 10 years.    

 

​Teaching in Florida

​In 2007 Mrs. Plocher moved to Florida where her husband received a call to be Principal at King of Kings Lutheran School in Maitland, FL. Mrs. Plocher played organ for church, taught piano lessons and was the main substitute teacher during these years.

Teaching in Manitowoc, WI

​In 2009 Mrs. Plocher moved to Manitowoc, WI where her husband received a call to teach at Manitowoc Lutheran High School.  Mrs. Plocher received a call to teach at Bethany Lutheran School in 2010. She taught fourth grade for three years and is currently teaching first grade.
